Why Jonesy Cat? Well no prizes for guessing my cat's called Jonesy and it seemed like as good a title as any. She is an old cat and might not be around for long so it is nice to think she will be remembered in cyberspace in some way.

Plus it is a way of recording the things that do or don't happen in life.

Interesting points for today? Well tonight I'm off to see Keane with my fella. More about him in another post I think. Looking forward to it although I feel I probably don't know enough of the songs and might demonstrate some musical inadequecy.

I mean everyone is meant to like Keane and have their CDs - it is a basic requirement, like nice shoes and good dental hygeine. And I do like the music - at least the songs I know.

But I don't have any of the albums at least not until my fella bought me an iPod for Xmas (fabulous) already loaded with all the right sort of music I should probably know.

I really like music but I just never seem to get really into it - just like lots of stuff that is generally played on the radio.

Btw - I'm not old which is probably what you're thinking. I think I'm just busy. At least that's the excuse I'm going to go for.

So hopefully tonight I will be able to sing along to enough songs not to look musically dyslexic.

Wish me luck.
x
